I need to be able to read files from specific directories on the host server or web site and transfer the file names, size and date to the user browser in an specific format or list in hiperlink, so the user can download the files using http. Does anyone knows or have any ideas about how to get this implemented? I am looking for a solution that could be supportted on both: IIS/NT and Unix using Netscape or IE. The Unix server where the Web Site is located does not support Java Servlets right now. I understand that this is possible to accomplished with JAva Servlets, but is there any other way like Pure Java Scripts, CGI or Perl. Any Examples? Appreciate any help Thanks a lot Yeudy Segura
