Some recommendation I've found in my mailbox:
URL rewriting can be turned on quite easily - by setting

enable.urlrewriting=true

in the file

jws/properties/server/javawebserver/webpageservice/session.properties.

However, to use it, the encodeURL() method has to be called on _ALL_ urls
output by the servlet.
