In the past I had problems with the JDBC-ODBC bridge and MS Access (and
SQL Server too). I got Invalid state, and the ODBC logs reported an
internal error in both cases (Access and SQL Server).
Weird, but didn't have time to investigate further (I simply discarded
ODBC databases). The same programs that caused the error work fine with
Oracle or Mysql.
