Download a JDK or JRE (your choice) for LInux from one of the following free
sources:
* Blackdown (http://www.blackdown.org) has 1.1.x and 1.2.x versions (1.2 is a
pre-release). Apache JServ works with either.
* IBM just announced a 1.1.6 release for Linux (http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com
and search for "Linux").
* There are a couple of other implementations of the JDK/JRE on Linux. The
easiest way to find them is from the JavaLobby web site's home page
(http://www.javalobby.org).

Download the JSDK 2.0 from the JavaSoft web
site (http://java.sun.com/products/servlet). The "Unix" version works fine on
Linux.
