Hi,
I just installed JRun Pro on my Solaris box where only the clean initial
installation of Netscape Enterprise 3.6 resides. All I did was stop Netscape
server(port 80) and run install.sh, and restart Netscape server. Then, I
started JRun with command 'jsmctl start' in jsm-default directory and it
showed the following message.
Starting jrun:
JRun 2.3.2 build 151 starting...
Log started: Mon Jun 21 14:10:30 GMT+09:00 1999
JRun Servlet Engine (JCP) Started.
JRun Connector Proxy Started on port 8081.
JRun Servlet Engine (JWS) Started.
JRun Web Server Started on port 8000.
JRun 2.3.2 build 151 Ready.
However, I cannot run servlet through Netscape Server
(http://localhost/servlets/SimpleServlet.class ) although I can execute servlet
via JRun web server at port 8080.
How can I fix this? In fact, I have years of experience of IIS and various
flavor of UNIX, I know little of Netscape Enterprise administration. Am I
missing something?
BTW, what do the proxy server and port that appear in the installation process
and default to local host and 8081 mean?
Won, Taewoong
