That class should be found in the servlet.jar file in the main directory of jskd2.1.
so it sould be something like javac -classpath e:\jsdk2.1\servlet.jar javafilename.java
I know what you mean sometimes sun is not the bigest for documentation.

Subject: Jsdk 2.1
Anybody uses Jsdk2.1.
I am trying to use its new RequestDispatcher_object.forward(...) to call
from servlet to servlet, since Jsdk2.0 getServlet(...) is deprecated.
But Jsdk2.1 comes from Sun without new \lib or \bin folders and the compiler
complains that it can not find class RequestDispatcher or method
getRequestDispatcher(...)....
Have you found how to circumvent this issue ?
Regards,
Dan
