step 1.
create an html file and name it
index.html/index.htm/home.htm/home.html.default.htm/default.html
(index.htm is preferred)
u can use frontpage
step 2.
publish the file to iis
step3.
open 'properties' of the site......www.my-web-site.com and press the tab
'documents'
step 4.
make sure the file that u created i.e. index.htm is included there. and give
it first preference.
step 5.
now it should work
