The fix to the problem of running the JSDK 2.1 servlet engine under Windows
has been released.
It is part of the new JSWDK 1.0-EA release, which includes both the fixed
servlet 2.1 engine and the JSP 1.0 reference implementation as well. Check
the Java Developer Connection early access page for download.

I've just verified that JSWDK 1.0EA indeed solves most problems. However, I
had to add -cp %CLASSPATH% to the Java interpreter invocations in
startserver.bat and stopserver.bat. Also, the reference to tools.jar in the
class path is not required for the Symantec JDK.
All sample servlets and JSPs ran well except one, the JSP sample Date that
leads to the following error messag:
JspEngine --> F:\JSWDK\examples\jsp\dates\date.jsp
Unhandled error! You might want to consider having an error page to report
such errors more gracefully
com.sun.jsp.JspException: Unknown exception:
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 11
Does Date run with other JDKs? What might cause the exception?
