I have a servlet that seems to work well on it's own, but when I execute
an applet
with the following code that tries to connect to a servlet,
try
{
URL url = new URL("http://localhost:8080/servlet/Simulation");
URLConnection con = url.openConnection();
HttpMessage msg = new HttpMessage(url);
InputStream in = msg.sendGetMessage();
DataInputStream result = new DataInputStream(new
BufferedInputStream(in));
String str = result.readLine();
in.close();
return str;
}
catch (Exception e)
{
return e;
}
It returns the following exception:
exception: netscape.security.AppletSecurityException: security.class
from local disk trying to access url:
http://localhost:8080/servlet/Simulation
If anyone knows what to do to fix this, please send me a message
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (I want to work on this over the
weekend)
Thanks !
