Look through the FAQ for JSP information at
http://www.esperanto.org.nz/jsp/.
As for question #3, you can only refresh whole pages, but these can be
frames in a frameset. I've developed a page with 6 frame "slivers" so that
I can refresh just one of these, containing just one field. Dealing with
frames is always a little tricky, but it can be done.
