I agree 100%. This specific bug was, however, submitted with test code and
I've been able to reproduce it easily (as have others based on the comments),
so I'm a bit surprised by the "Closed, not reproducable" status. See

But like I said in my original reply, it may have been solved in
JDK 1.2.2. If it hasn't, I suggest filing a new bug report, with test
code and a reference to the original bug report, to get it resolved.
