Dear friends,
seems to be like a lot of confusion about what I meant about
servlet-corba. Here is the better explanation what i actually meant.
We have developed one Java application using jdk 1.2 and corba architecture and
oracle 8 as the database. Our application mainly contains client side programs just UI
part and all the database connectivity everything in server side(3 tier). Client side
will be requesting for the object and will get all the services defined in IDL using
that object and will establish client-server environment using corba architecture.
Now we r doing the browser version of it using HTML, servelts and java
script and we need our server side like that itself..dont want to implement it again.
So we just want to implement the client side... In that case, from HTML page it is
calling servlet and this servlet inturn will contact the server side coding in the
application using ORB service..and accomlish the same thing what we got in the
application part...
hope now u got my requirement...and we tried it with giving ORB no arguements,
null arguments ..but now way it is passing the ORB initialisation line..we r using
java idl ...
