I think the question was referring to the existing comp.lang.java.*
newsgroups, i.e. what is the volume/proportion of servlet-related
postings there.

I think it might be worth it to reissue the RFD.  I can understand the
motivation to not make these minor changes and not have the RFD grow
wordy and complex.  On the other hand, my experience is that it is
worth it to have certain things better clarified from the start --
ounce of prevention, pound of cure and all.  Things like what's
on-topic, whether job postings are allowed, etc,. might be good
candidates for clarification.
