Websphere is a nightmare when in comes to installation, to my experience so far.

Someday you woke up, the admin interface might not work and you will have to
installed.  However, just like you, a decision has been made....

I think you will need to install IIS4.0 first before websphere.  I am using the
IBM HTTP Web server and so have no experience hooking websphere into
IIS4.0.  My machine is installed with VAge 2.0 before I put on Websphere and
it seems ok.  Perhaps the order is important :)

Another important note is to make sure you have the patch for Websphere 2.0
installed or none of your (big) post will not work.  In other words, use 2.02
instead.
