To target a particular frame on the server side, use 'Window-Target'
header like so:
res.setHeader("Window-Target", "_top");
res.sendRedirect(res.encodeRedirectUrl("foo"));
Works on Netscape 4.x / IE 5.x and later, dunno about earlier browsers.
