I am having a weird problem with jrun v2.3 running on Sun. I uploaded a
servlet to the default servlet directory where I had an earlier version of
the servlet and none of the changes I made are taking effect. This occurred
even after I checked the *.java files, recompiled them on the server and
restarted the servlet engine (many times). My understanding of jrun is that
it checks for changes in *.class files anyway. Another person who is also
actively using the default servlet directory is getting the engine to
recognize changes immediately.

I checked and could not find another instance of jrun running (I did not
install it, and it looks to me like there were a few false starts in the
installation process, with a few duplicate files scattered around). I also
checked to see if there are other *.class files for this servlet on the
system that the engine could be looking at, and cannot find any.

Can anyone give me a new idea of what to do?

Thanks in advance for any help.
