jason hunter's book seems to have a good section on servlet cooperation,
though i haven't read that particular section. it might have what you need.

I have a three servlet system. Servlet 1 submits form data to servlet 2.
Based on the info submitted, servlet 2 submits form data to servlet 3 which
displays the final results. Is it possible to have servlet 3 re-direct or
display a link to return the user back to servlet 2 without using the back
button on the web browser? I know this probably sounds crazy, but I just
need to know if it can be done and if so, how???
