Folks,

I thought I saw a message go by, a month or so back, that
described how to open a URLConnection to a server. I can't find it in
my mailbox, and the archives don't seem to be responding.

I need to have one servlet invoke another server; using a
URLConnection is fairly straightforward, but the server expects a
cookie in a standard browser format. The cookie value is in the
original request the servlet is processing. How do I include it in
the secondary request from the servlet to the second server?

(And no, I can't just redirect the browser, this is specifically
to avoid some browser shortcomings for particular browsers that don't
handle redirects very well).
