when upgrading, i recommend trying the following:
mv the current directory to an archive:
% mv jsdk2.1 jsdk2.1.org
install the new jsdkd:
% unzip jswdk1.0-ea.zip
you can remove the jsdk2.1 installation directory with
little harm except for losing configuration data, content
(html), servlets, etc with which you may have installed
in the jsdk dir. a better way to manage content is to
not install it under the jsdk installation directory but
to instead reference it from jsdk.
