Nimesh:

This is a problem I've grappled with a bit in servlets - basically, without using some client-side Javascript there is no easy way, other than first asking for the start date, then submitting the form, then asking for the end date, which is just too awkward.

The problem is that there is no interaction with the server until the user makes another request - similar to the old 3270-style terminals where you didn't interact with the server until you click "Send".

When I do this kind of thing I simply do all of the validating once the form is submitted, then re-present the form to the user with the problems highlighted for correction (e.g. turn them red or something).

The other way is Javascript, which I'm not familiar with.

Subject: Filtering Comboboxes

I have two comboboxes .Both the ComboBoxes have dates(YY/MM/DD).
One Combobox contains From Date and the other TO Date.
I will be quering to my database for a period that is dates between from and to combobox.
What I want is when the user selects a date from the From Combobox the To combobox should be filtered and just showing the dates after the date in From Combobox.
Pls help me

Thanks
