"Multipart Response" were never supported by M$. I don't know about IE5 but
I believe it's the same.

Subject: Server Push

Hi --

Anyone tried server push in their weblications by keeping the socket open ??
I played around with Jason' MultipartResponse technique but couldnt get the
desired result.

May be my servlet engine (JRun) is buffering the response. Finally on IE I
get a whole list of "--End" stmts and the countdown. On NS its only the
first count.

Anybody seen it working on other servlet engines ? Any settings specifically
required for the "keep alive" connections on the server side ??

Any other (non-applet) solutions for doing server push invented ? :-)

Thanks for any pointers ..

Shashank
