 I've run the applet with the Java plugin and it
 also runs perfectly.

 Do you think that it could be that I
 didn't use response.setContentLength(int i) in
 my servlet?  And if so how would I go
 about determining the size of the object
 I send back to the servlet? (how do I figure out
 what size i is in bytes?)
