Problem with CLASSPATH of server

Hi!

      When I run my servlet in Netscape Server 6.51  it could not find
the classes of the package which I implemented.
      The first thing that I looked at were the user that launch the
server process. But  I modified the CLASSPATH variable of him without
exit.
      Other answer. Is possible to stop a servlet whitout stop the web
server??
