Hi,

ANYTIME you write the value, you should do it like this:
if (session.getValue("var") == null) {
        session.putValue("var",abcd);
}

The following should also be possible:
if (session.isNew()) {
        session.putValue("var",abcd);
}

If you set the value always like this, how can it be overwritten?

Klaus
