Hi,
     You can run WebSphere with other HTTP servers than IBM HTTP Server :
it supports Apache (best choice), IIS, Netscape Server and Domino Go
Server...
     There may be some limitations with EJBs or IBM specific function when
you don't use IBM HTTP Server, but nothing that would prevent you from
playing with Servlets.
