Thanks for the reply.
I already found an example and it seams to work.
Instead of calling:
servletConnection.connect();
I am now doing:
DataInputStream input;
InputStream is= new InputStreamReader(urlConn.getInputStream()));
Although I don�t read anything.
Thus, the servlet engine gets the stream to create the ServletResponse.
