Hi,
I asked this Question because , currently am following a book Called
JAVA SERVLET PROGRAMMING by JASON HUNTER.
There it says the SERVLET ENGINE in the JSDK (not JSWDK) does not support
session tracking, server side includes etc therefore all their examples are
based on JWS.
SO what is the meaning of that.
WHAT's the difference between the SERVELET engine in the JSDK1.0 and the SERVLET
engine in the JSDK2.1 to me it looks like the same.
Previously the reference implementation of a SERVLET engine was JWS
Now the reference implementation of a SERVLET engine is JSWDK.(ACCORDING TO ONE
OF THE ARTICLES I READ)
So my arguement is JSWDK1.0 SERVLET ENGINE should support everything without
the need of any other webserver. IS THIS argument correct ?
(SHOULD I GO FOR IIS + JRUN OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT )

Please send me a QUICK ANSWER
