        This statement doesn't make sense. (A copy of its own what?) AIUI,
except in exceptional circumstances (aliasing etc.) there is one servlet
object per distinct servlet class, but requests come in via distinct
threads. So arguments to doGet/doPost are distinct, as are local variables,
but not variables in the class itself.
