Navid:
There's a basic full-text search program like this in our Expresso
framework. It's open source, so feel free to grab & copy & see if it is
helpful to you. It's at http://www.javacorporate.com, click the download
link on the right side of the page.
The search servlet is in com.javacorporate.common.servlet.Search when you
unzip the source.
Hope it helps.

Subject: searching a web-page for specific dates, parsing - simple q's
Has anyone search through a web-page looking for specific dates amongs
paragraphs, texts, links..etc?
What's the best and most efficient method for doing this? The date format
would
be like this "June 22nd, 1998".
I was thinking something like,
1)loading the text into a string buffer,
2)read xx bytes at a time and
3)use the parse command to find the dates.
Thanks,
Navid
