I have Apache Jserv set up with proxy capabilities (but not set up as proxy
- I don't know how to do that), and I have a servlet that works on the
server, that modifies information.. for instance, you pass that servlet a
link to an html page and it strips out some extra text from the html page
and then returns a page without that text. what i want is this servlet to
work as a proxy, so somebody would put my server ip in their Netscape
"proxy settings" and then *any* page that they would retrieve would be
checked by this servlet. Is this possible? Can anyone please start me out
or help me through this? I would be very grateful.
thanks in advance,
Jon Reinberg
