Hi Phil,
I also had the same problem with Apache and JNI.
The reason for the problem is probably the placing of the servlet
and not that of the Native DLL
The servlet loading the Native class should be placed in the servlet
engine's CLASSPATH and NOT in the servlet directory. The servlet engine
CLASSPATH is specified by the wrapper.classpath environment variable
in the jserv.properties file.
wrapper.classpath="<path of servlet>"
After changing don't forget to re-start the servlet engine !
