I think you guys are missing the point of Servlets.  Browsers don't run
servlets, servers do.  If you are having a compatibility problem, it's with
what your servlet is generating, not with the concept of servlets in
general.  The browser has no idea that servlets even exist, by the time they
see the html, any servlet tags embedded within it have been processed by the
server.  I would suggest you take a close look at the html generated by your
servlet, you may be using something netscape specific if it works on one
browser and not the other.  You might also take a look at opera or hotjava
if you want to make sure your servlets are sending comatible html to the
world.
