i'm truly sorry to hear about your troubles. whoever is
sending you continued, unwarranted and repeated private
messages as a result of a query on this list is simply
not ethical behaviour in my book. i would be pissed myself.
now, we can readily remove accounts from this list but
there is really nothing stopping folks from signing up
again ... and again ... and again ... possibly with a
different email account ... t'is the nature of the web.
any ideas from the list as how best to deal with these
types of activities? i'd vote to just ignore bogus messages,
be it private or to the list. silence can be a powerful tool.
