Title: OFF-TOPIC
That number stems from the fact that there are only 256 sockets on a port, so all web servers (unless they are doing something tricky under the covers) should have the same limit.  However, there may be other factors (memory, processor time, number of threads allocated) that actually make using all 256 sockets impossible.

Hi all.

I know that apache can handle a maximun of 256 http request a one given time without doing load balancing.
Does any one know the max for JWS from sun.

Thank you.
