well in that case ... how about the applet communicating (asking) the
servlet if it should close or not when its shutting down ? ( that can be
done with the code examples i sent u)
also .. if its running outside the browser .. i'll assume ure using the
Frame class ?? Could do one of these 2 things :
1 : Remove all WindowListener Interfaces so the window wont respond to
shutting down
2 : Leave the listening interface there and catch the shutdown of the
applet in the windowclosing event of the Frame ?
Hope these give u a few ideas :-)
