I can only recommend one engine for servelt (Because is the only one that have
worked for me). It's call IBM WebSphere Application Server. It offers a full
customizable enviroment for servlets, plus a EJB container and other features
like a connection pool manager compatible with all standars DBMS.
I don't know any site, but i can tell you that we have develop internal systems
and clients requirements only with servlets. This is always the best alternative
in front of ASP and ISAPI. It's more fast, secure and reliable. You can
interact with COMs, Java APPLETS, Activex, DBMS, Flat information resourses,
etc.....

Subject: Re: References for Servlet Internet Apps
Hello,
Im working with servlets too, and would like to know what engine are you using
to run your servlets. Is it the Jsdk ServletRunner? 2.0 or 2.1? If another,
witch? Ive had experimenting problems with them and want to change to another
more robust.
We are planning to develop enterprise web based application for internet.
We want to use Servlet/JDBC technology for this project. I was wondering if
there is any site which lists the Internet (NOT the intranet) applications
developed using same technology stack . My management wants me to say that
"Amazon/Yahoo/Excite" uses servlet and that's why it's not problem for us to use
it too! (as it's a proven technology)"
