We are pleased to announce that the Orion Application Server now
implements the Servlet 2.2 PR and JSP 1.1 PR specifications. It is
available for download from:
http://www.orionserver.com
Orion is free for development use so you can use this uncrippled product
to experiment with the new features and on our site, you will find a few
early examples about how to use taglibs.
For example you can see how you can make access to EJB:s from a JSP much
nicer using taglibs in the example at
http://www.orionserver.com/examples/jsp/ejbtag/simple.jsp
Orion Application Server is a full featured Java Application Server,
featuring support for Servlets, JSP, EJB, JTA, JMS and more. It is well
known for its extreme performance and its special features like dynamic
reloading of everything, even EJB:s and taglibs.
The current release is 0.7.5. The 1.0 release, scheduled for later this
month, will support the full J2EE platform.
