Yes Mark. We learnt the same thru the hard way. WebSphere may not start /
work if it finds spaces or long names in its classpath.

Subject: WebSphere Classpath query
Hi All,
can anybody confirm our finding that IBM WebSphere 2.02 on Win NT 4 will
only accept old MS-DOS pathnames in the Classpath setting?
For example, that
C:\externaljavaclasses
doesn't work, but
C:\extern~1
does.
Thanks,
Mark Foley
