This is related to the BIG PROBLEM...(READ carefully)
When I use the code
.....
String combo=req.getParameter("dept");
....
in the servlet
I could display the value of combo but still I couldn't do any sort of
comparison with the text field which have the same content that is lecturer ID.
Consider that though the combo name is dept it has the names of lecturers
