We've tried. Not properly, just small things. The results showed us that
it's quite fast actually. The same code with the same db was much faster in
IPlanet than in JWS 1.1.3.

All the reviews I've seen show that IPlanet is better than Apache, by far.
As I said, I haven't test this particular comparison, but the sources were
quite independent.

1 of the reviews I saw was from I-Kinetics, a company that develops JDBC
drivers and should not has any relationship with SUN/Netscape. Although u
never know.
