hi,
Follow these steps
write these commands as it is on dos prompt
path=jdk_directory/bin
set classpath=jsdk_directory/lib/jsdk.jar

save your servlet in servlets directory of java web server.
now compile your servlet with javac.
call the servlet from the browser using
http://your_machine_name:8080/servlet/name_of_the_classfile
