It's just a guess but how about adding -mx switch to the java executable when
starting JWS?
(sorry I couldn't resist)
JWS is a java program therefore it must be started with giving the java executable
some options (classpath, etc.) plus the class name for JWS right? I'm guessing here
(I don't have JWS) but there's probably some batch program to start JWS? Edit this
file and add the -mx switch there (.bat in windows, probably .sh in UNIX).
