Cheap DB's

Does anyone know of any decent free(or cheap) DB's that run on WinNT/98. I'm using Access to collect web data from several different servlets and it consistantly gets corrupted after several hours!. It's a peice of CRAP!   I'd appreciate any direction. Thanks.     John D.
