Hello thanks all for your help ,
I tried it on Windows NT ; what I did is that I added the environment
variable "classpath" to the Win NT and gave it value the path to the
servlet.jar .
Also I tried it on Windows 95 . I added the following syntax to my
autoexec.bat file :
Set classpath=. ;c:\jswdk-1.0\lib\servley.jar
By the way without the dot and the semi-colon after the equal sign it won't
work ; don't know why .

Thanks all for your help , bye .

        Hi
add to your classpath <your jswdk
dir>\lib\servlet.jar that may solve your problem

Thank you. That was the solution on Windows NT at least.
