I'm pretty sure that WebLogic will not actually use RMI to connect to an
EJB running within the same VM. It has some internal short-cut. There
was a thread about this on the weblogic newsgroup back at the beginning
of the year. Someone in the thread expressed concern that this violated
some symantic, but it was a fairly obscure concern.
