I am new to servlet programming.We got a sign on screen.The user name and password in the sign on screen is same as out database user name and password. When user logs in ,we are checking against database.Our problem is the connect string .I got few conditions on it like no hard coding and not suppose to prompt the end user to type it.It should be out of the program so that middle level users like web adminstrators can modify it easily.Is anybody can help me in keeping the connect string at right place?
