Hi everybody... I am having trouble with setting up the environment on my machine.... I am desperately trying to compile some servlets from the SERVLETS directory of JavaWebServer1.1.3 The whole problem started eversince I downloaded J2 SDK1.2.2-001 where it was specifically said in installation instructions that if my machine does not contain a classpath then I SHOULD NOT set up one... I did as requested once there was no classpath (environmental) variable set on my machine... Can somebody then please tell me why in the case of compiling any servlet I get errors on all the "Import javax.servlet.http..." statements? The messages specifically say that those superclasses cannot be found. Could somebody please tell me what the right classpath should be?
