Hi Madhuri -
Try using this:
import javax.servlet.*;
The Servlet API is a Java Extension, not part of the Java core -
thus javax rather than java.
Yours,
Tom

I have a little test servlet. I am using jsdk1.2 and jdk1.1.8 to build this.
When I run the javac on this servlet i get the following error message. I
have set the classpath etc. Can anybody let me know what's going on?
TestServlet.java:2: Package java.servlet not found in import.
import java.servlet.*;
