The LISTSERV alias is used to send commands to control your subscription to
one or more of the mailing lists (for example, an "unsubscribe" command would
be sent here).  The SERVLET-INTEREST alias is the list itself -- messages sent
here are forwarded to all of the list members.

As far as I know, JAVASOFT.COM and JAVA.SUN.COM are the same for the purposes
of mail and web access, but I have gotten in the habit of always using the
latter one.

One way to get a copy of the API documentation pages is to download a current
copy of the Jakarta Tomcat project (http://jakarta.apache.org).  The API docs
are in the "src/webpages/docs/api" subdirectory.  You will also find that the
sources for these classes and interfaces are also included.
