Off Topic:java Date problem on solaris..Please help me

Hello Users,     can  any body please tell me a very simple thing about java date on solaris when i use   java.util.Date dt=new Date(); or java.sql.Date   it adds five/four hours in current date. I have checked system time zone its correct.also display date/time is correct.     whats the reason for this problem and how can it be solved.   regards sajida.
